In 2015, the Niizawa brewery took a bold gamble: combining the creation of exceptional sake with collaboration with contemporary artists. This is how KIZASHI was born, a one-of-a-kind Junmai Daiginjo, both an ode to tradition and an expression of modern art.

Description

Each year, a new artist is invited to put their vision on the KIZASHI label. This collaboration gives rise to a unique collection of bottles, each reflecting the creative universe of a talented Japanese artist.

KIZASHI is characterized by a limpid and crystalline color, and a complex nose with floral and fruity notes. On the palate, the texture is silky and elegant, and the flavors unfold with perfect harmony. The finish is long and persistent, leaving an unforgettable impression.

But what makes KIZASHI so unique is its umami richness. Thanks to an innovative brewing technique, the Niizawa brewery has managed to extract twice as much umami as in Zankyo Super 7, another exceptional sake from the house.
