Birth of Betsu Jikomi Honjozo:
In the old brewery days, there was a particular tank, Tank No. 63, that consistently produced excellent quality honjozo sake. The sake brewed in this tank was labeled and sold as “Betsu Jikomi,” marking its origin. The label’s band still bears the name Tank No. 63. Today, we continue to offer selected high-quality sake under the name Betsu Jikomi Honjozo.
